Kitties in Books
It's true. I have almost always had a cat (rather, a cat has almost always had me). So, it's not surprising they figure prominently in my stories. Montford, a grey tabby, accompanies Nicholas and Katherine on their adventures in The Raven's Revenge.
Kitties on Sofas
The kitty on this page is The Pooh. In this photo he weighed almost 25 pounds. Fortunately, he has been on a Reducing Diet lately (called getting his thyroid to work properly) and he is now down to a svelte eighteen. Still, when he lays down he looks like a cross between a beached whale and a fur carpet. Just like the bear he was named after, Pooh is a cat of Very Little Brain. Unfortunately for me, he likes to sleep at the foot of the bed in the spot where my feet belong. In the wee hours of the morning, it isn't easy to budge a corpulent cat who doesn't get it.
